There were a lot — 100+, to my eye — of happy Democrats at Amanda Curtis’ meet and greet in Kalispell yesterday. After years, decades even, of trying to muster enthusiasm for Blue Dogs like Max Baucus, these people were overjoyed to meet a Democrat from the Democratic wing of the party, a chili pepper from Butte who practices politics with the zest of Franklin D. Roosevelt. I was there, and I took a few photographs (including a photograph of the video tracker from America Rising who follows her around Montana).
