Turnout as function of county size & diff from 2010

As a very general rule, the smaller the county, the higher the turnout rate. Size is not the only factor, but it’s an important one. The first graph below plots turnout as a function of the number of registered voters in a county. The second graph compares the turnout rate in 2014 with the turnout rate in 2010.
