Montana mailed 82,500 fewer absentee ballots this year than in 2012. That’s a substantial falloff, and I suspect the falloff is mostly Democratic. In Flathead County, 25,558 absentee ballots were mailed in 2012. So far this year, only 16,684 absentee ballots have been mailed, a falloff of 8,874.
