Independence Day Greeting

Happy Independence Day! My flag is flying, I’m enjoying the fine warm weather, and after a day spent gardening and puttering around the house, I’ll enjoy a traditional Independence Day dinner of a hamburger, homemade French fries, green beans, and coleslaw. Later, equipped with a fire hose and cell phone, I’ll try to enjoy the numerous private fireworks displays that are this neighborhood’s tradition. Monday, I’ll be back to blogging.
