How to submit reports on activities concerning coal mining and hydrocarbon development in the North Fork Flathead River Basin in Northwest Montana, Glacier National Park, and Southeast British Columbia.

Verification. I must be able to verify who you are as well as what you report. Reports must contain your name, address, and a telephone number at which you can speak freely.

Reports for attribution. Your name will be used and contact information as negotiated. I prefer these reports, as they have the greatest credibility. I reserve the right to edit reports for length and clarity.

Confidential reports. I will accept confidential reports on a case-by-case basis. I must be able to verify who you are, but your name will be suppressed and the report attributed to an unnamed source. If you are reporting by email, please remember that businesses and government back up all of their files. It would be better to use a private email account. Please remember that confidential reports are not as credible to citizens as are on-the-record reports. Write "confidential" across the top of the message. I will assume that messages not marked confidential are for attribution.

Snailmail submissions. Send to P.O. Box 7353, Kalispell, MT 59904.
